Responsibilities

Work from complex drawings
Perform inspection and test procedures
Demonstrates knowledge of documentation procedures related to manufacturing and quality of hardware
Proficient in basic computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, Data Entry as required
Proficient using Connect/ERP/ETQ to collect data and maintain inspection criteria and information
Maintain Receiving records / documentation and job files as required, to include creation and maintenance of job summary cards for inspection criteria
Process incoming material per Standard Procedures and Quality Assurance Procedures as required
Assists in training / cross-training of others
Participate in Continuous Improvement Process
Work with minimal supervision, i.e. able to establish priorities to meet deadlines
Demonstrates ability to use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments
Initiate non-conforming documentation for parts not meeting requirements
With assistance from Quality Engineering and other stakeholders, establish and perform inspection plans
Solder, read from drawings, and use microscopes/inspection tools
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing/inspection environment
To be proficient in basic computer skills i.e. Word, Excel, Data Entry as required
Must have experience using standard mechanical measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, digital indicators, various gauges, etc.)
Demonstrates knowledge of documentation procedures related to manufacturing and quality of hardware
Proficient using Connect/ERP/ETQ to collect data and maintain inspection criteria and information
Maintain Receiving records / documentation and job files as required, to include creation and maintenance of job summary cards for inspection criteria
Process incoming material per Standard Procedures and Quality Assurance Procedures as required
Assists in training / cross-training of others

Preferred

High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience with soldering preferred but not required
