Human Resources Assistant
LHH is a company that provides staffing and workforce solutions, and they are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of their Human Resources department within a law firm environment. The role involves administrative tasks, recruiting, onboarding, and providing employee support functions while ensuring efficient HR processes and a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities
Assist with coordinating interviews, scheduling candidates, and preparing interview materials
Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive experience
Assist with onboarding documents and employee files such as I9 verification, personnel file creation, and compliance documentation
Serve as a point of contact for new hire questions during their first weeks
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, both digital and physical
Support HRIS data entry, reporting, and process updates
Process employment changes, status updates, and HR-related documentation
Generate routine HR documents (employment verifications, memos, forms, etc.)
Assist with employee engagement activities, events, training sessions, and firmwide initiatives
Qualification
Required
1+ years of HR or Administrative experience, preferably in law firm or insurance domain
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS/ATS systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, client centric environment
