Responsibilities
Define and maintain product line strategy aligned with market trends and customer requirements
Develop business cases for new FPGA products, IP, solutions and features
Create and implement marketing plans, including product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation
Drive new product introductions (NPIs), including pricing, forecasting, collateral development, and training
Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to understand market dynamics, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies
Develop clear product positioning and value propositions to differentiate Microchip FPGA solutions
Provide competitive intelligence to sales teams and create tools for objection handling
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets and strategic accounts
Collaborate with sales teams to develop account strategies and secure design wins
Build relationships with key customers, ecosystem partners, and industry influencers to expand Microchip’s FPGA footprint
Support negotiations for strategic partnerships and joint development initiatives
Work with engineering to define specifications and prioritize features
Support worldwide field sales and applications teams with tools, training, and competitive analysis
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to guide product decisions
Represent Microchip at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MBA preferred)
10+ years of relevant experience
5+ years in semiconductor product marketing or product management (FPGA experience strongly preferred)
Proven track record in defining product strategies, executing NPIs, and driving business development
Strong technical understanding of FPGA architectures and applications
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a global, cross-functional team environment
