Responsibilities
Work closely with stakeholders to develop a long-term product vision, establish priorities, and deliver phased solutions that balance near-term impact with long-term goals
Own the end-to-end product design process, from discovery and concept through delivery and iteration
Design user-centered experiences for web and application products from concept to launch
Develop and apply user-centered testing standards and best practices within Agile design and development environments
Maintain and contribute to design systems, UI standards, and component libraries
Ensure designs are technically feasible and accurately implemented by development teams
Translate user needs, business requirements, and stakeholder input into value-adding product features
Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, UX, and other teams to ensure quality, performance, and timelines are met
Attend industry-relevant technology conferences and events as needed
Apply typography, color, spacing, and layout principles to create a clear and effective visual hierarchy
Document design guidelines, patterns, and usage standards
Stay current on UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent education and/or experience
8+ years of experience in product design or related fields
Strong portfolio demonstrating UX process and UI design skills
Solid understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design
Ability to clearly communicate design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience conducting user research and usability testing
Experience designing enterprise or data-heavy applications
Experience designing data visualizations, dashboards, and analytics-driven interfaces
Experience working with design systems and component libraries
Preferred
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or front-end frameworks (plus, not required)
Familiarity with data visualization libraries (plus, not required)
