Responsibilities
Lead design and implementation of user-facing features and backend services
Build accessible, performant UIs with TypeScript, React (React Router / Next.js, HTML, and CSS
Implement robust REST APIs in Python (FastAPI/Flask); design schemas and write efficient SQL
Define clear API contracts and patterns; ensure consistency across services and UIs
Own quality: automated tests with Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright; thorough code reviews and documentation
Improve build and release pipelines (Vite/Webpack, GitHub Actions) and support deployments on AWS
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues; drive reliability and performance improvements
Mentor teammates and contribute to planning, estimation, and technical decisions
Qualification
Required
Lead design and implementation of user-facing features and backend services
Build accessible, performant UIs with TypeScript, React (React Router / Next.js, HTML, and CSS)
Implement robust REST APIs in Python (FastAPI/Flask); design schemas and write efficient SQL
Define clear API contracts and patterns; ensure consistency across services and UIs

Preferred
6+ years of experience building fullstack web applications, including leading features or projects
Strong expertise with React (React Router / Next.js) and rendering strategies (CSR/SSR/SSG), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Solid backend experience with Python (FastAPI/Flask), REST API design, and SQL/schema design
Hands-on with Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright; CI/CD with GitHub Actions; familiarity with AWS
Understanding of web security and authentication (OAuth 2.0/OIDC) and secure coding practices
Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across product, design, and engineering
Healthcare/HIPAA experience is a plus
Knowledge of Elastic Search
