Responsibilities
Designs and develops scientific experiments and research projects to support the development of new products and technologies. Documents project plans, anticipates and mitigates risks, and produces time estimates
Conducts data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform project decisions and recommendations. Stays current with industry trends and advancements in scientific research to inform project strategy and direction
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
Prepares technical reports, presentations, and publications to communicate research findings and project updates to stakeholders
Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of experimental procedures, results, and conclusions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Leads requirement gathering, supervises or conducts literature reviews, drafts proposals, and evaluates scientific merit
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or equivalent degree in scientific area, required
Five years of postdoctoral experience in informatics, design, or technology related areas, required
Five previous peer-reviewed publications, required
Previous grant proposal writing experience, required
Strong desire to learn and be highly collaborative
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external contacts
Must have robust project management skills and be capable of working with technical staff to drive the projects forward
Should have track records on multiple publications and grant proposals
