Resource 1, Inc. is seeking a Senior Oracle APEX Developer for a 6-month contract-for-hire position. The role focuses on Oracle APEX and PL/SQL development to enhance internal applications and customer-facing satellite applications, supporting integrations and automation projects in GCP.

Responsibilities

Develop new and enhance existing Oracle APEX applications
Write and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, and database queries
Implement front-end UI using APEX themes, templates, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Build and consume REST APIs and integrate systems using integration platforms and custom connectors
Collaborate with project managers, super users, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver phased releases
Support GCP-based automation workflows and assist with Python scripts for cloud integrations
Troubleshoot production issues, perform deployments, and participate in off-hours support as required

Required

5+ years of web/ application development
2+ years of Oracle APEX
Strong PL/SQL and Oracle database development experience
Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, CSS and APEX themes/ templates
Experience building and integrating REST APIs and working with integration tools
Enterprise application development experience and familiarity with ERP satellite application patterns

Preferred

Experience with React, Angular, or other SPA frameworks
Experience with integration platforms such as Boomi or Mercator
Exposure to Snowflake and executing queries provided by data architects
Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Python for automation tasks
Performance tuning and database optimization experience
