Responsibilities
Provide production support for mission-critical applications, including incident management, root cause analysis, and timely resolution of issues
Monitor application health, performance, and system reliability in production environments
Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using Java
Work with Apache Spark for data processing, analytics, and large-scale batch/stream processing
Deploy, manage, and support applications on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Storage, Monitoring, etc.)
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and business teams to ensure smooth releases and minimal production issues
Implement fixes, patches, and performance improvements with minimal downtime
Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
Participate in on-call rotations and provide off-hours support when required
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience in production support for enterprise applications
Proficiency in Java (Spring/Spring Boot preferred)
Solid experience with Apache Spark (Spark SQL, DataFrames, batch/streaming jobs)
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in complex distributed systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
