Responsibilities
Architect and implement enterprise-grade data platforms in GCP/Databricks, supporting structured and unstructured data
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and repositories in Medallion architecture that support near real-time and batch processing
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with HIPAA, GxP, and other regulatory standards
Map and optimize end-to-end data flows, leading the migration of legacy data components to a high-performance environment
Extend data architecture and analytics capabilities to BD and other internal corporate functions
Streamline and harmonize disparate internal data sources to establish a resilient, unified source of truth for the organization
Build and scale business intelligence platforms that deliver actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders
Architect the core logic for advanced, multi-agent AI systems and sophisticated automated workflows
Build and scale high-performance RAG pipelines that securely leverage proprietary data for competitive advantage
Partner with data scientists to deploy AI/ML models that improve forecasting, risk detection, and operational efficiency
Champion the use of predictive analytics and automation to enhance trial execution and enterprise decision-making
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, including hands-on implementation of data lakehouse architectures on platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake
Proven proficiency in utilizing medallion layering to build scalable and reliable data repositories
Deep experience with data governance platforms and automation, including the strategic use of data catalogs, ontologies, and taxonomies
8+ years of technical leadership with a proven record of managing engineering teams while remaining a hands-on contributor
8+ years of experience building large-scale business applications utilizing modern technologies and advanced architectural patterns
Deep expertise in GCP, Python, and event-driven architecture
Practical experience building LLM applications, agentic systems, or automated reasoning platforms
Strong experience using Lean/Agile methodologies to prioritize complex backlogs and ensure continuous delivery
Preferred
Familiarity with medical claims data, payer/provider workflows, and interoperability standards
