Business Acquisitions Analyst
The California Franchise Tax Board is seeking a Business Acquisitions Analyst to perform analytical duties related to the compilation and processing of purchases and contracts. The role involves clerical support functions for the bureau and may be extended or become permanent.

Perform a variety of analytical duties related to the compilation and processing of purchases and contracts
Provide clerical support functions for the bureau
Qualification
Required
Ability to take initiative, work independently or in a team environment in a fast-paced environment providing excellent customer service
Ability to develop and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships, and using team-oriented interpersonal skills to build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to effectively communicate verbally or in writing, and present information clearly and professionally
Ability to effectively manage, plan, organize an inventory work list and adjust to competing deadlines, shifting priorities, and complex project demands under pressure
Experience in developing statement/scope of work (SOWs) or agreements using a variety of analytical and research tools to identify procurement needs, address gaps, and document business and technical requirements
Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex sets of information, rules and regulations, and provides guidance to stakeholders
Experience in leading meetings, facilitating discussions, coordinating follow-up actions, and keeping stakeholders aligned on goals and timelines
Experience using the FI$Cal System, Excel, Outlook, Word, OneNote, SharePoint, and Adobe
Experience with data entry, record keeping, and filing documents
Knowledge of budget or accounting rules and general practices
