Responsibilities
Assemble electromechanical components, circuit boards, and sub-assemblies following detailed instructions, schematics, and work orders
Perform mechanical assembly tasks with precision and consistency
Conduct electrical and functional testing of assemblies using standard test equipment
Troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with engineering and technical staff to resolve problems
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements
Maintain accurate documentation, including build logs, inspection reports, and test results
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Support continuous improvement initiatives in production processes and workflow efficiency
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in using basic hand tools (torque wrenches and other basic hand tools)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform repetitive manual tasks
Preferred
Experience working in defense, aerospace, or other regulated technical environments
Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g., J-STD-001, IPC-A-610)
Hands-on experience with electronics or mechanical assembly, repair, or related technical work
