Responsibilities

Optimize Production Performance
Conduct structured time and motion studies to identify improvement opportunities and support productivity initiatives
Improve Workflow & Eliminate Bottlenecks
Analyze production flow using data-driven methods, pinpoint constraints, and implement targeted solutions to increase throughput and efficiency
Lead Continuous Improvement Projects
Propose, launch, and monitor improvement actions while tracking measurable performance outcomes
Maintain Accurate Manufacturing Data
Regularly update cycle times and routings in SAP/S4HANA to ensure reliable planning and costing data
Design & Enhance Layouts
Develop and maintain efficient production layouts using AutoCAD, promoting safe, ergonomic, and optimized work environments
Support Capacity Planning
Assist in creating capacity analysis reports that guide strategic planning and resource allocation
Optimize Production Strategies
Calculate economic lot sizes and recommend optimal production batch quantities to balance cost and efficiency
Contribute to Cost Estimation
Estimate manufacturing costs for new and existing products as part of the quoting and pricing process
Collaborate Cross‑Functionally
Work closely with production, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to execute improvement projects and support operational goals
Communicate with Impact
Document findings and deliver clear, compelling presentations on analyses, results, and recommendations to management

Required

Technical degree with relevant experience or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
Basic knowledge of SAP/S4HANA for cycle time and routing updates; reporting experience is a plus
Strong understanding of time and motion studies, capacity analysis, and economic lot size calculation
Solid grasp of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (certification is an advantage but not required)
Proficiency in layout design, ergonomics, and production line balancing
Basic knowledge of manufacturing cost estimation, including tooling and process considerations
1–3 years of experience in industrial engineering roles, ideally in the electronics and/or automotive industry
Hands-on experience conducting time studies, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements
Time and motion studies for accurate cycle time calculation
Bottleneck analysis and improvement project execution
Application of Lean tools (5S, kaizen events, value stream mapping)
Cycle time and routing updates within SAP/S4HANA
Capacity analysis for production lines and resource planning
Economic lot size calculation for optimized production
Production layout development using AutoCAD (additional design tools are a plus)
Ergonomic assessment and workplace safety considerations
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
