HVAC Engineer
Braun Ambulances is dedicated to safety and innovation in ambulance design. The HVAC Engineer will be responsible for the design of HVAC systems that meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements, as well as developing installation processes and training employees on system installation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
Research and design HVAC system to meet customer and regulatory requirements for the module including chassis interface as necessary
Consult on HVAC system and equipment design for a wide range of projects working with design engineers, project managers, dealers, customers and/or product development engineers
Design testing procedures and control equipment as needed Communication
Communicate directly with customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications and operational environment
Communicate with inter company engineering staff to assure HVAC system designs that meet customer expectations
Train employees on system installation and troubleshooting Operations
Develop installation process and associated work instructions for designed HVAC systems
Analyze HVAC systems and associated equipment when necessary to solve functionality problems/issues optimizing system performance Leadership
Serve as project leader when required on HVAC system design efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 3 to 5 years of HVAC related work experience
Experience with software design systems, Solidworks preferred
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Project management skills
Ability to work in a team
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills both orally and written
Able to demonstrate reasonable and reliable attendance
Ability to complete all work activities as detailed within this job description with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to access and navigate to each department and/or facility, including customer locations when necessary
Occasionally required to crouch and kneel, must be able to transport up to 15 pounds of work-related materials
Must be able to maintain any required licensures and/or certifications
Compliance with all company policies including those associated with drug-free workplace
Preferred
Experience with software design systems, Solidworks preferred
