Responsibilities
Develop and customize WordPress themes and templates using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Build reusable page components and block patterns for scalable, multi-market site builds
Create and manage custom post types, custom fields, and taxonomies
Optimize site speed, caching, and Core Web Vitals using modern performance best practices
Implement structured data, schema, and technical SEO enhancements
Integrate third-party tools including CRMs, form builders, call tracking, and marketing platforms
Configure and manage Google Tag Manager, GA4, and conversion tracking
Maintain hosting environments, backups, staging sites, and deployment workflows
Monitor site security, plugin health, and uptime
Troubleshoot and debug issues related to tracking, forms, rendering, and browser compatibility
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience in WordPress development
Strong experience with WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin work
Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
Familiarity with staging environments, version control, and modern build workflows
Strong understanding of site performance, security, and technical SEO
Experience implementing analytics, event tracking, and conversion tracking
Comfort working alongside marketing, SEO, and paid media teams
