Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of bi-directional data feeds between MD-Staff and enterprise systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Workday, Salesforce)
Configure and optimize the MD-Staff Integration Manager to ensure seamless data mapping and field-level synchronization
Manage API connections and SFTP batch processes, troubleshooting 'Error Logs' to prevent downtime in provider onboarding
Architect and fine-tune Aiva (AI) automated workflows for Primary Source Verification (PSV)
Establish 'Source of Truth' protocols to resolve data conflicts between disparate systems
Ensure real-time updates of provider 'Golden Records' to downstream systems to maintain accurate directory and billing information
Align system configurations with The Joint Commission (TJC), NCQA, and CMS standards to ensure 'audit-proof' data storage
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all system upgrades, patches, and new integration modules
Conduct regular data audits and 'Data Detox' initiatives to eliminate duplicate records and stale credentials
Build complex SQL-based queries and ad-hoc reports for executive leadership
Develop automated dashboards tracking 'Time-to-Privilege' and other key performance indicators (KPIs) through the MD-Stat module
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years in Medical Staff Services or Healthcare IT, with at least 3 years dedicated specifically to MD-Staff (Applied Statistics & Management) system administration
Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) and experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
Proficiency in SQL for data troubleshooting and reporting
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
MD-Staff Certified Expert (Required or must be obtained within 6 months)
Preferred
CPCS or CPMSM (Highly Preferred)
Previous experience managing a large-scale migration from legacy credentialing software to MD-Staff
Familiarity with integration engines such as Mirth, Corepoint, or Rhapsody
Strong project management skills with the ability to bridge the gap between clinical stakeholders and IT departments
