Securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately
Performing all duties in a manner that promotes the Providence mission, values, and philosophy
Serving as a role model for the values and mission of the organization

Qualification

National Certification of CHAAInsurance eligibility systemsKnowledge in medical billing codesUtilization of medical terminologyEpic applicationsAssociate's Degree HealthcareAssociate's Degree Business Administration

Preferred

Associate's Degree Healthcare or Business Administration
Upon hire: National Certification of CHAA
3 years experience in Patient Access of Business office setting
Experience with insurance eligibility systems
3 years Utilization of medical terminology in job setting
Knowledge in medical billing codes
1 year Knowledge of Epic applications
