Responsibilities
Design and develop enterprise Java applications
Build and maintain microservices and event-driven workflows
Collaborate with architecture, QA, and DevOps teams
Participate in code reviews and technical design sessions
Support production systems and troubleshoot issues
Produce documentation suitable for a regulated public-sector environment
Qualification
Required
7+ years of hands-on Java development (enterprise applications)
5+ years of Spring and/or Spring Boot in production systems
Proven experience building microservices architectures
Event-driven system experience, including: RabbitMQ (strongly preferred), Kafka acceptable only if clearly explained
React experience used in enterprise applications (not coursework, not demos)
Experience deploying or supporting applications in Kubernetes
Strong experience with REST APIs
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (required)
Ability to pass a written technical exam (The exam is given by the State and is used to validate hands-on Java, Spring, and architectural competency before final selection.)
An in-person technical interview
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
Preferred
JSF / PrimeFaces (v6+)
Elasticsearch
AWS, Azure, or GCP experience
Prior work in government, courts, or regulated environments
Strong technical documentation skills
