Domestic Logistics Analyst

Responsibilities

Negotiate carrier rates for various transportation modes, focusing on cost effectiveness and customer priorities
Provide solutions for transportation issues and communicate as necessary with the sales team, customer services reps and supply chain analysts
Provide support to the international trade compliance function
Assist project coordinators with special freight requirements and external warehousing needs
Troubleshoot issues that arise in the deliveries of project freight
Provide proper drop ship documentation to supply chain analysts/project coordinators to ensure timely and accurate billing of delivered goods
Collaborate and communicate effectively options/pricing as needed
Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Company policies and regulations
Attend meetings with with leadership to provide information and collect notes for distribution
Review freight invoices in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and obtain adjustments on overcharges for unapproved services, delays, damages or other unwarranted charges
File claims for damages exceeding insurance deductible limit
Other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Operations, Business Administration or other applicable fields or equivalent work experience
Strong computer skills including proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Team and Powerpoint
Ability to provide financial picture of freight vendor proposals, supply chain costs
Working knowledge of international trade compliance rules and regulations
3+ years of relevant experience
