The Project Coordinator will assist the Design & Engineering team with administrative duties, including updating project schedules and managing financial trackers.

Responsibilities
Coordinating with Designers and Project Managers on project start dates and status of permits for jobs
Creates and updates the project schedules from mid-stage development through engineering, procurement, and construction phases of projects
Administers the RFP process for long lead procurement and services
Provides project information for project stakeholders and manages the document control process for assigned projects
Reviews and collaboratively edits project contractual documents and exhibits
Leads constructability reviews and other project engineering meetings with in-house staff
Communicating with clients on current and pending status of jobs
Maintaining project data in company’s database
Arranging for payment for permits in a timely manner
Tracking open permits and report progress to Project Managers
Coordinating the final inspections of jobs as required
Requesting surety bonds for permits and business licenses
Arranging construction testing and engineering services if necessary
Qualification
Required
Must have prior project coordination experience in an office setting
Experience updating project schedules, reforecasting and prioritizing urgent deadlines
Can juggle multiple projects simultaneously; able to multitask while handling urgent requests efficiently, quickly, and calmly
Must have strong MS Excel skills (formulas, sorting, pivot tables)
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others
Able to read, write, understand, and speak English proficiently
Proficient and comfortable with Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, etc
Must be able to commute and be onsite in Carol Stream, IL office, Mon - Fri
Preferred
Experience with the construction / telecom industry is a plus
