They are seeking a Structural Design Intern to assist in establishing and improving company standards and tools, while contributing to project success through collaboration and the development of BIM models.

Responsibilities
Coordinate with other design group team members to review and exchange project information necessary for design and development
Gathers required information and collaborate with engineers and multiple disciplines to develop BIM models for foundations and steel structures
Leverages Building Information Modeling (BIM) to create plans, drawings, and details
Assist in the development of department standards and tools
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's program in Computer Aided Design & Drafting Technology or a related discipline
Proficient in using computer-aided drafting programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, GEOPAK, or Navisworks, with basic knowledge of current computer operating systems
Able to communicate via email and use electronic meeting requests, familiar with spreadsheets and databases
Capable of communicating clearly with team members and other disciplines, both verbally and in writing
Able to complete assignments within designated timeframes
Understanding of multi-discipline engineering and vendor documentation
Represents Kiewit professionally when interacting with owners, contractors, vendors, and external contacts
Regular, reliable attendance
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required
May work at various different locations and conditions may vary
