Responsibilities
Coordinate purchases through various contract vehicles including Common Hardware System (CHS and CHESS)
Define purchase requirements with stakeholders
Coordinate for funding approvals for large scale purchases
Track multiple delivery orders over extended periods
Report and brief status to senior leadership
Conduct property accountability assisting with lateral transfers and traceability of equipment on site
Detail-oriented with technical, verbal, and written communication skills
Qualification
Required
Active Secret clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration/Management or Technical
A minimum of eight (8) years of related logistics experience
Direct experience in coordinating purchases through various contract vehicles including Common Hardware System (CHS and CHESS)
Direct experience in defining purchase requirements with stakeholders
Experience with coordination for funding approvals for large scale purchases
Experience in tracking multiple delivery orders over extended periods
Experience in reporting and briefing status to senior leadership (O6 and/or above)
Experience in Property Accountability to assist with lateral transfers and traceability of equipment on site
Allowable substitution: Twelve (12) years of logistics experience or a certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certificate with eight (8) years additional related experience may be substituted for education
