Computer Aided Design Technician
Richardson Engineering is a Civil Engineering Firm specializing in municipal water and wastewater design. As a Computer Aided Design Technician, you will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans in collaboration with engineers, ensuring all design specifications and industry standards are met.
Responsibilities
Producing detailed technical drawings and plans in collaboration with engineers
Creating CAD-based designs for municipal and developmental projects
Modifying existing plans as needed
Ensuring all design specifications and industry standards are met
Coordinating with team members to deliver high-quality and efficient project outcomes
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in providing Technical Support, including diagnosing and resolving design software-related issues
Strong knowledge of Operating Systems relevant to CAD software
Proficient in modern computer-aided design tools and drafting software such as AutoCAD Civil 3d or similar programs
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented mindset, and time management abilities
Preferred
Associates degree or certification in Computer Aided Design, Engineering Technology, or related field a plus
Experience in water, wastewater, or development-related projects also a plus
