Responsibilities
Client-facing delivery of all major MSP projects, from kickoff through close
Clear project plans, timelines, dependencies, and risks
Consistent project methodology across all client work (you’ll help build it)
Direct communication with clients, including setting expectations and delivering hard news when required
Cross-team coordination with engineers, leadership, and third parties
Project health visibility for leadership (status, risks, bottlenecks)
You will run multiple concurrent projects across: M365 and cloud migrations, Server and infrastructure refreshes, Network and firewall deployments, Security and compliance initiatives, Client onboarding and internal improvement projects
You will have real authority over project execution after onboarding and trust-building
You are expected to direct engineers’ project work, escalate when needed, and push back constructively
You will work closely with leadership to define and improve how projects are delivered, not just follow existing processes
You’ll be expected to surface risks early and drive corrective action
Within the first 90 days: Clients clearly understand what’s happening on their projects, Project communication is predictable and professional, Leadership has accurate visibility into project status, Client satisfaction around projects is measurably better
Qualification
Required
3+ years as a Project Manager in an MSP/IT services environment or equivalent experience leading IT implementations
Proven experience managing client-facing IT projects
Strong logistics, planning, and organizational skills
Comfortable operating in environments where not everything is fully defined yet
Confident communicator who can manage conflict productively
Preferred
PMP certification
Deep MSP experience
Experience formalizing or improving delivery processes
Familiarity with ConnectWise Manage (or similar PSA tools)
