Responsibilities

Support the Strategic Initiatives Group leadership in providing analysis and decision support to the executive leadership team
Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and scenario analyses
Perform cost-benefit, ROI, and funding analyses to support real estate, public sector, and enterprise investment decision-making
Analyze large datasets using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, R, or similar platforms to prepare insights for review
Build dashboards and KPI tools for performance tracking and accountability across the organization
Translate complex analyses into clear, executive-ready insights, recommendations, and presentations
Support enterprise-level transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with priorities, resources, and timelines
Partner with functional leadership to document scope, deliverables, metrics, and execution plans
Apply structured problem-solving frameworks to ambiguous challenges, including operating model design and process improvement
Support implementation efforts, translating strategy into workplans, milestones, and accountability frameworks
Develop process documentation, SOPs, and workflows to support sustainable execution
Track progress and identify risks for escalation to functional and executive stakeholders
Serve as a thought partner to the executive leadership team, helping to frame problems, evaluate trade-offs, and pressure-test assumptions
Support preparation of executive materials, presentations, briefing materials
Build trusted relationships with leadership via consistent delivery and sound judgement
Conduct policy, regulatory, and industry research relevant to healthcare, housing, real estate, and public sector areas
Review legislation, contracts, and guidance and summarize key implications to inform financial and operational strategy
Prepare concise research memos and executive briefings translating policy implications into practical organizational considerations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field
2-4 years of relevant experience in management consulting, internal consulting, strategy, performance improvement, FP&A / accounting, or similar analytical roles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Sound judgment and ability to build trust with functional leaders and team members
Ability to apply structured approaches to ambiguous problems
Strong organizational and project tracking skills, with experience supporting implementation initiatives and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to synthesize complex issues into executive presentations
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools for executive dashboards / KPI monitoring (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Familiarity with operating model and organizational designs (e.g., RACI, SIPOC, etc.)
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred

Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or similar project management /process improvement certification
Experience operating project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday, etc.)
Strong business acumen across operations, finance, and strategy
Working knowledge of SQL or equivalent database querying tools
Familiarity with automation or lightweight scripting (e.g., Python, R) for repeatable analyses
Familiarity with healthcare payor industry and its regulatory and operating environment
