Responsibilities

Onboarding new clients to Mercer Advisors efficiently and professionally to ensure better client retention
Partner with the Regional Vice President (RVP) to manage new client onboarding from initial agreement to becoming an official client
Execute the Three-Part New Client Onboarding Process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Prepare, send, and process all required client paperwork and documentation
Set up new clients across all Mercer systems and maintain accurate records
Create and manage onboarding checklists to track progress and ensure completion of all steps
Monitor custodian platforms to confirm account linking, funding, and transfers are completed promptly
Proactively follow up with custodians to resolve issues and prevent delays in the onboarding process
Facilitate smooth hand-off to the Wealth Management Team (WMT) by introducing the client and providing a completed onboarding checklist
Drive Price Modification Request process and ensure compliance documentation is delivered to clients
Track and secure additional assets and opportunities during the first year of the client relationship, including running Fi360 attestations for new retirement assets
Ensuring adherence to company standards
Other duties as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree preferred
Prior financial services or related administrative support experience
Sales experience highly preferred
Series 65 or combination of Series 7 and 66 license preferred; will be required to obtain the Series within first 6 months of employment
Understanding of the financial services industry
Strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with high-level, busy professionals
Must work well in a team environment and present a positive and professional demeanor
Self-starter, active contributor and ability to listen to and deliver on client's needs and expectations
Must be highly flexible and confidential with all matters
Ability to occasionally travel (to both channel partner offices and prospects')
