Responsibilities
Develop technical competency and drive a Cisco aligned Partner technology strategy for joint sales success
Partner with aligned Account and Architecture teams, providing direction and ownership of cross architectural technical & business strategies
Deliver Cisco Cloud, AI, and Data Center and technology and architectural presentations on current & future technology trends that are likely to transform the market, technology and business models in the 3 – 5-year time frame
Provide positioning and business case development training (for partners to use with their customers) to senior partner technical leadership
Drive enablement initiatives such as early field trials and demonstration capabilities within the partner
Ensure partner practices address total Cisco sales lifecycle including adoption
Engage Cisco segments and evangelize Americas Partner Organization value & strategy to accelerate revenue
Contributes to Partner Business Planning and Quarterly Business review meetings
Provide input to business counterparts and management in structuring new partnerships
Encourage partner alignment around Cisco’s architectures
Partners with Account teams to build technology plans to accelerate revenue for region, areas, and partners
Establishes relationships with Cisco’s technical and sales leadership team, Cisco's Business Units, product lines, and associated product managers
Represent the partner by providing feedback to Cisco business entities on the business value of filling features and solutions gaps
Ability to articulate the business value and competitive advantage of Cisco solutions to partners to enable incorporation into partner sales motion
Qualification
Required
8 or more years related experience
Partner experience
Pre-sales experience
BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent
DevOps/NetDevOps/Knowledge of interfacing with API's
Exposure to or awareness of Cloud, AI, and Data Center architecture solutions and use cases
Knowledge of key technical and business drivers driving current & future technology requirements
Preferred
CCIE certification, AI, Cloud, or multi-domain expertise equivalent desirable
Compute, Data Center Networking, AI, Software Defined Storage expertise highly desired
