Staff Technical Product Manager – Knowledge Management Systems
GE Aerospace is a leading company in the aerospace industry, and they are seeking a Staff Technical Product Manager to oversee the Platform for Knowledge Management & Collaboration. The role involves defining and executing the strategy and roadmap for digital products while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance Enterprise Knowledge Services and Project Document Management.

Responsibilities
Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge of the Knowledge Sharing and Document Management competitive environments and helps the organization maintain the competitive edge
Interact with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback to shape the product strategy and surface and prioritize needs
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and major, complex products
Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product / services priorities and improvements
Partner with the Information Science & Knowledge Systems business leader and Knowledge Managers in the business to develop and promote a culture of sharing
Lead product, roadmap, feature definition, planning, and life cycle management efforts
Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product
Routinely collaborates with UX, Architecture and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions
Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas
Demonstrates superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and development teams
Own the release and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases
Own and manages the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready
Prioritizes continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs
Demonstrates strategic-level skills in problem solving and ability to navigate through ambiguity
Engage frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions
Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units
Partner with Development Leadership to ensure healthy development process
Ensure alignment and adherence to standards (e.g., architecture, compliance, security)
Increase adoption and consumption of product capabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management or IT
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Knowledge Management systems or other Document Management systems

Preferred
Demonstrated experience implementing governed taxonomies within technical products
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online and M365 environment
Familiarity with knowledge management in a regulated environment
Experience working with Agile methodology
