Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable OCI solutions
Architect and execute high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies
Configure and maintain OCI networking (VCN, subnets, gateways, load balancers, firewalls, security groups, routing)
Oversee data localization and compliance with global residency and privacy regulations (GDPR)
Collaborate with network/security teams on secure architectures and access controls
Optimize OCI resources for cost, performance, and reliability
Automate infrastructure deployment (Terraform, OCI Resource Manager)
Administer CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Azure DevOps)
Integrate OCI with CI/CD workflows and version control
Troubleshoot and resolve OCI, networking, security, and automation issues
Support cloud migration, integration, and international deployments
Maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and compliance
Lead cross-training for team members and participate in technical initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
5-7 years of Systems Engineering experience
3+ years of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience (OCI required; AWS/Azure/GCP helpful)
Experience with HA/DR strategies, OCI networking, and compliance (GDPR/global privacy)
CI/CD pipeline administration (GitHub, Azure DevOps), automation/scripting
Strong knowledge of OCI compute, storage, networking, security, identity
Linux/Unix and Windows server administration in cloud environments
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Flexibility for occasional travel and after-hours work
Self-directed and motivated
Preferred
OCI Architect Associate or Professional certification (preferred)
Advanced CI/CD pipeline design and optimization
JD Edwards (JDE), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and middleware/cloud enterprise apps
Cloud networking architectures, VPNs, hybrid cloud solutions
Technical certifications (OCI Foundations, Architect Associate, etc.)
Monitoring tools (Oracle Cloud Monitoring, Grafana)
Scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell)
DevOps practices, automated testing frameworks
VMware deployment/support; Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS)
