Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team in a high‑volume, fast‑growth environment
Oversee full‑cycle AP: invoice intake, coding, approvals, 3‑way match, and payment processing
Manage weekly payment runs (ACH, checks, wires) across multiple entities
Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with PE‑level audit and reporting requirements
Partner with leadership to build scalable AP processes, policies, and workflows
Drive automation and system optimization (ERP, OCR tools, workflow automation)
Oversee vendor management, contract compliance, and issue resolution
Support month‑end close: accruals, reconciliations, AP aging, and reporting packages
Collaborate with FP&A on cash forecasting, spend analysis, and KPI reporting
Lead AP integration efforts for acquisitions or new business units
Serve as a key contributor in building a best‑in‑class finance function
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5–7+ years of progressive AP experience, including leadership responsibility
Proven success scaling an AP function in a PE‑backed or high‑growth environment
Strong ERP experience; NetSuite or similar mid‑market system
Demonstrated ability to manage high invoice volume and complex workflows
Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements
Excellent communication skills and ability to partner cross‑functionally
Comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving environment with shifting priorities
