Responsibilities
Lead overall branch network performance, ensuring consistent sales, service delivery, and member experience
Drive Small Business Banking growth by leading strategy, setting goals, and ensuring strong branch execution
Analyze performance, risks, and member feedback to identify trends and implement strategies that improve outcomes
Deliver coaching and development for branch leaders, strengthening sales capability, accountability, and leadership effectiveness
Foster an inclusive, high‑performance culture aligned with organizational values, compliance, and service standards
Oversee Community Outreach strategy and execution, ensuring branches meet outreach goals and strengthen local impact
Provide leadership for Business Development, ensuring alignment between external partnerships, branch priorities, and growth objectives
Enhance collaboration between Branch, Small Business, and Business Development teams to improve referrals, conversion, and member acquisition
Manage financial and operational responsibilities, including budgets, planning, vendor relationships, and compliance
Represent the credit union in the community, building relationships that support business growth and reinforce Salal's presence
Qualification
Required
8 years of experience in retail banking
5 years of team leadership experience
5 years of experience in direct sales and service
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of retail and small business banking, consumer sales, and project leadership
Excellent communication and presentation skills
