Akkodis is seeking a Python Developer for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH. The role involves developing secure, high-performance services and integrating applications with databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications using modern frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Build and enhance microservices and REST APIs while ensuring clean, efficient, and reusable code aligned with best practices
Integrate applications with SQL/NoSQL databases, third‑party services, and internal APIs to support end‑to‑end functionality
Troubleshoot and optimize application performance across the stack, resolving issues related to backend logic, data processing, and integrations
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product managers, business analysts, and QA engineers—throughout the development lifecycle
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, technical design discussions, and documentation to support continuous improvement and operational excellence

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD tools, Git, and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) per client expectations
