Responsibilities

Responsibilities include developing software, verifying software design, and testing software quality of various vacuum systems and components
May include supporting Manufacturing, motion control tuning, characterizing servo performance and stability, characterizing payload vibration, and developing/maintaining/releasing documentation
Will also be responsible for streamlining or automating configuration, calibration and testing vacuum components, as well as the development of routines for automatic data collection and analysis

Qualification

C++ programmingRTOS experienceElectro-mechanical systemsPythonTroubleshooting skillsProblem-solving skillsTechnical communicationPresentation skills

Required

BSEE / BSCS with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR MSEE / MSCS with a minimum of 3 years of experience
Minimum of 2 years of C++ programming expertise
Ability to learn complex systems quickly and work independently
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent technical communication and presentation skills

Preferred

RTOS (Real-Time Systems) experience
Experience with electro-mechanical systems
Competency in Python software
Related coursework, experience or research in controls, and/or dynamic systems, or robotics
