Project Engineer Sr

Responsibilities
Be responsible for managing incoming customer requests to complete ROM estimation activities. These efforts directly tie to future budget allocation and contracting actions
Act as representative to internal senior program leadership on ROM status, prioritization, and challenges
Interface with customer counterparts on ROM scope, timing, status, and contract objectives
Support strategic planning activities, including annual customer conferences related to fiscal year funding and scope planning for technical instructions
Qualification
Required
Prior experience with proposal development tools and best practices such as Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Material Cost Estimating (MCE), Executive Planning Panel (EPP) presentations, Contract & FAR limitations
Current employee on LM CPS WSI or Zumwalt program
Demonstrated strong communication skills with experience directly interfacing with senior leadership and/or customers
Experience in project management principals (Cost/Schedule/Technical)
Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to evaluate cost, schedule, and technical scope
Excellent presentation abilities (creation and delivery)
Excellent organizational skills
