Administrative Specialist I/II - Call Center
Larimer County Department of Human Services is dedicated to providing resources for community health and support. They are seeking an Administrative Specialist to assist a phone team in answering client inquiries regarding assistance programs while ensuring excellent customer service in a high-volume call environment.

Responsibilities
Interpreting County and departmental policies, rules, and regulations in response to inquiries
Conducting necessary research and routing complex matters appropriately for further interpretation
Accepting and processing plans, specifications, forms, legal documents, applications, and other materials in line with legal and procedural requirements
Composing and preparing responses to various communications, particularly when information is factual or based on established policies and procedures
Entering and maintaining data in computer systems or databases; proofreading entries and correcting errors; generating standard reports as needed
Providing excellent customer service, particularly to clients via phone
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
One (1) year of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar office administrative duties and responsibilities required for Administrative Specialist I
One (1) year experience as an Administrative Specialist I or two (2) years of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar office administrative duties and responsibilities required for Administrative Specialist II
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Initiative and independent thinking
Ability to learn and adapt to new systems
Sound judgment and the ability to work independently
Awareness of when to seek input and when to proceed autonomously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality as part of a team
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities and diverse backgrounds
Preferred
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred and considered helpful
