They are seeking a Freelance Football Editor/Writer who is passionate about breaking news and has strong knowledge of the NFL, College Football, and UFL, to cover events and manage the newsdesk effectively.

Responsibilities
Cover breaking news events, write quickly and accurately on a tight deadline, surrounding the football schedule and calendar
Write and edit live blogs for the NFL, CFB, and UFL
Write stories around FOX shows, podcasts, and other digital shows
Identify, pitch, and write stories around NFL trending topics, both quick-turn and long-form
Run the newsdesk, assigning and editing stories
Collaborate closely with fellow NFL and CFB editors and writers, as well as members of social, programming, video, and podcasts
Passionate about creating an experience for fans that engages and promotes their desire to remain within FOX Sports’ O&O products
Qualification
Required
Strong writing, organization, and copy editing
Knowledge in Adobe, Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite
Preferred
Bachelors degree
