This role oversees all financial reporting, compliance, and manufacturing cost accounting while partnering closely with operations and executive leadership.

Responsibilities
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close in accordance with GAAP
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements
Manage external audits and maintain strong internal controls
Oversee standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and WIP
Partner with operations to analyze costs and drive profitability
Support annual budgeting and forecasting
Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to leadership
Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, and physical inventories
Support ERP systems and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead and develop the accounting team (3–5 direct reports)
Collaborate with plant leadership, supply chain, and executive teams
Qualification
Required
CPA required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Manufacturing accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and cost accounting
Preferred
ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Prior people leadership experience
