New Jersey Courts is seeking a team-oriented individual with great customer service skills to join the Printing and Office Services Unit. The role involves operating and troubleshooting high-speed printing equipment and performing various clerical tasks related to printing and binding.

Responsibilities

Operate high-speed printers and inserters to process centralized mailers
Utilize a variety of printing and binding equipment to produce copies, brochures, booklets, business cards, and other materials as required
Use software and equipment to design and produce posters, nameplates, and other signage
Enter data, print reports, and verify data for accuracy utilizing databases
Provide transportation for committees and meetings
Other duties as assigned

Required

One year of experience performing a variety of clerical and support services to include keyboarding and one or more of the following: document or information processing, handling payments for fees, recording monies received, reconciling balances or accounts and/or scheduling meetings or appointments
Ability to use a keyboard, no minimum speed
Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position
For some positions, applicants must have the ability to perform work which requires climbing and prolonged standing, stretching, bending and reaching to perform the essential duties of the position
For some positions, the selected candidate must be able to frequently lift and carry supplies weighing from 30 to 50 pounds and, occasionally, materials weighing up to 75 pounds, in order to perform essential duties of the position
Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position
Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Newly hired employees must agree to a thorough background check that will include fingerprinting
In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), the 'New Jersey First Act,' all persons newly hired by the Judiciary within one year must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey

Preferred

Experience with Xerox, Ricoh, Canon and Bell + Howell equipment, as well as Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Publisher, and Xerox MakeReady software
