Credit Operations Director

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and manage a high-performing team of loan administration professionals
Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
Ensure team members are fully trained and equipped to support evolving client and regulatory needs
Oversee the full credit lifecycle, including loan origination, documentation, collateral tracking, and servicing
Drive accuracy, timeliness, and control throughout the credit process
Work with leadership to define and implement the future-state vision of credit operations with a focus on loan administration and loan agency
Manage loan technology integration, and optimization to enhance scalability and efficiency
Align credit operations with Gen II’s broader business strategy and client service model
Reengineer and standardize workflows to improve operational efficiency and turnaround times
Implement and document controls, procedures, and best practices that mitigate risk and enhance data integrity
Ensure all credit-related activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
Partner with Compliance and Legal to monitor and manage operational risk
Collaborate with partners across internal functions, including Relationship Management, Fund Accounting, Legal, and Compliance
Take an active role in supporting the sales process for Credit related opportunities
Engage directly with clients to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide operational transparency

Required

7+ years of experience in credit operations, fund administration, or a related financial services function
Proven track record in building and scaling operational functions, preferably for loan administration and loan agency environments
Strong understanding of loan servicing, documentation, and private credit structures
Managing high-performing teams and complex operational projects
Deep familiarity with credit and lending regulations; experience working with compliance teams
Ability to analyze loan data, identify issues, and develop solutions
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
High attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence
Bachelor's degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
