Responsibilities
Independently lead the service and repair of a diverse construction fleet
Master complex diesel engines, 12/24V electrical systems, and hydraulics
Provide high-impact mobile field support
Qualification
Required
Commitment to Safety: A strong dedication to maintaining a safe environment—both physically and mentally—for yourself, your colleagues, and customers
At least 3 years of combined education and field experience performing mechanical work on vehicles, trailers, and equipment
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a DOT Inspector Certification
Detailed familiarity with gas/diesel engines, 12/24-volt electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
Advanced mechanical and intermediate welding skills, along with the ability to supply your own basic tools to perform daily duties
Preferred
Prior experience performing heavy equipment mechanics specifically within the underground utility field
Deep familiarity with the specialized equipment and machinery associated with underground utility construction
