The Department of Cardiology Medicine is seeking a full-time Cardiac Catheterization Lab Director, Clinical Assistant Professor (HS) to manage daily operations, ensure high standards of patient care, and lead a team of professionals in the cardiac catheterization lab.

Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the cardiac catheterization lab
Ensure procedures are performed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with best practices
Maintain high standards of patient care and procedural outcomes
Hire, train, and supervise Cath Lab personnel including nurses and technologists
Foster a collaborative and professional work environment
Manage staff schedules and ensure ongoing competency and education
Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and accreditation standards
Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient outcomes
Maintain documentation and reporting for regulatory compliance
Develop and manage the Cath Lab's operational budget
Oversee procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies
Ensure efficient use of financial and material resources
Work closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and administrative teams
Coordinate patient care and resolve operational issues
Promote interdisciplinary communication to enhance service delivery
Provide strong leadership and mentorship to Cath Lab staff
Promote a positive work culture and professional development
Lead by example in clinical excellence and ethical standards
Perform cardiac catheterization procedures
Participate in inpatient consult rotations
Participate in the cardiac catheterization call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualification
Required
Medical Doctor Degree or equivalent
New York State Medical Licensure
Board Certified Internal Medicine
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Completion of EP Fellowship
BLS and/or ACLS Certification
