Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

Repairs to guest rooms, facilities, and other resort related equipment
Basic maintenance, repair, of plumbing systems
Basic electrical maintenance, repair and installation of electrical equipment and systems throughout the resort to ensure safe and proper operation
Monitor, maintain, repair and carry out preventative maintenance programs on resort heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment
Maintenance of resort pools to include chemical check

Required

Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and clean MVR for 3 years
Valid Driver's License and Clean 3 Year MVR
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock
The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles
