Responsibilities
Monitor court deadlines, maintain case calendars, and organize case files
Manage document collection, review, and production; prepare privilege logs and infringement/invalidity contentions
Draft, cite-check (Bluebook), and file documents in federal courts and, at times, before the PTAB (Patent Trial and Appeal Board)
Organize exhibits, prepare witness binders, coordinate logistics, and attend hearings or trials
Perform legal research, prepare charts, summaries, and chronologies
Liaise between attorneys, clients, vendors, and local counsel
Qualification
Required
3+ years of IP or patent litigation experience, required from a law firm setting
Strong knowledge of litigation support software (e.g., Relativity, Concordance, Ringtail), PACER, ECF, and legal research tools like Westlaw/Lexis
A Bachelor's degree is required
High attention to detail, ability to handle tight deadlines, and strong organizational skills
Preferred
A paralegal certificate often preferred
