Responsibilities
Follows specific requirements of a particular job order
Fabricates according to daily production requirements
Communicates and instructs entry level glass employees in various phases
Follows specific directions from Glass department supervisor and see that these directions are carried out
Make sure area is kept organized and 5S procedures and policies are followed
Audit completed product to assure it meets order requirements and YKK quality standards
Communicate non-conforming product issue to Manager / Supervisor
Set up machines and equipment
Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes
Qualification
Required
Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must have at least two years of manufacturing experience preferably in a fabrication or production environment
Must have good communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask
Be vigilant about safety
Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
Job requires constant lifting in excess of 50 pounds
Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour period of time
Job requires stooping, bending and kneeling
Preferred
Basic computer skills with good working knowledge of Excel and Word software
