Responsibilities

Build foundational knowledge of litigation procedures while developing proficiency with legal technology and firm systems
Follow established procedures and instructions to deliver high-quality work, while learning to identify resources that improve efficiency
Apply strong organizational skills to manage workflow, documents, and deadlines across matters, teams, and departments
Identify issues as they arise and collaborate with attorneys and staff to help resolve problems effectively
Assist in all phases of litigation—from case inception through trial or resolution—including document collection, review, and production
Coordinate case documents and electronic discovery, working closely with the firm’s eDiscovery Resource Management team
Support court filings and depositions by proofreading, cite-checking, Bluebook verification, preparing exhibits, subpoenas, and summaries
Contribute to factual and legal research, witness and evidence tracking, and trial preparation and logistics, including attending trial as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree required, with a strong academic record
Ability to work efficiently under direct supervision while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated sense of accountability, with the ability to take ownership of assignments from start to finish
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in written and organizational work
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly as priorities shift
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with attorneys and team members
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed to meet business and client demands
