Responsibilities
Assisting with Snowflake platform support, including monitoring, incident triage, and issue resolution
Supporting database administration activities such as user access management, role-based security, and data governance controls
Helping analyze and improve query performance, warehouse utilization, and cost optimization
Assisting with routine operational tasks, documentation, and automation using SQL and scripting tools
Collaborating with data engineers and analytics teams to support data pipelines, reporting, and business intelligence workloads
Qualification
Required
Ability to work full-time for 12 weeks during Summer 2025; program dates are May 18th – August 7th, 2026, OR June 15th – September 4th, 2026
Currently pursuing academic studies that will lead to a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Analytics, or a related field
Foundational experience with SQL and relational database concepts
Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or Bash)
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based technologies
Preferred
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong experiences as demonstrated through projects, research or academic internships
Great interpersonal relations, team cooperation and communication skills
Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations
Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to medical technology industry and a career with ResMed
