Software Engineer (Algorithm Developer) - Early Career
Lockheed Martin is a leader in aerospace and defense, seeking a full-time Software Engineer to join their team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. This role involves the design, development, analysis, and testing of complex algorithms, as well as driving performance optimizations in existing algorithms.

Contribute to the design, development, analysis, and testing of complex algorithms
Drive performance optimizations in current algorithms
Qualification
Required
Experience in at least one of these skills or computer language areas: C, C++, C#, Python, Java, XML, Windows, .NET, and LINUX/UNIX, system software and scripting development, Java programming, web development, System analysis, System design, Software Design, Software Development and Implementation, Software Test
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Must be a US Citizen
This position will require obtaining a government security clearance
Preferred
Knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards, algorithm development, unit testing and configuration management, database and System administration
Good communication skills
Strong team player
Familiarity with Agile Development Process a plus
