Responsibilities
Assist in the execution of M&A, leveraged finance, and capital markets transactions
Prepare client materials including pitch books, offering memorandums, term sheets, and financial models
Support lender presentations and syndication strategy development
Analyze financial statements, market trends, and comparable transactions (equity, debt, and M&A)
Conduct valuation analyses using DCF, precedent transactions, and trading comparables
Perform independent research to support transaction structuring and client recommendations
Participate in client and investor meetings alongside senior team members
Help prepare strategic materials tailored to sponsor and corporate client needs
Coordinate with internal product teams to deliver integrated capital markets solutions
Maintain CRM systems and databases to track deal pipelines and client interactions
Complete deal closing checklists and ensure accurate reporting of transaction components
Assist with quarterly reporting and internal performance tracking
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
FINRA Series 79, 63 (or equivalent), or obtain within 4 months of start date
Located in or willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC or Columbus, OH
Preferred
1+ years' experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Corporate Finance
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across teams
Commitment to professional integrity and continuous development
Ability to adapt to change and contribute to a collaborative team environment
