Responsibilities
Partner with product owners and team members to identify features that need automated test coverage
Design, develop, and maintain integration and service-level automated tests for key workflows
Create and contribute to automated tests using C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript, with frameworks like Playwright
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot test failures and improve product quality
Support testing in a cloud-native, containerized environment using Kubernetes and microservices
Use AI-assisted tools where appropriate to improve test generation, debugging, and workflow efficiency
Contribute to continuous improvement within the Agile software development lifecycle
Learn, grow, and adapt as our systems and technologies evolve
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
0–2+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or automation (internships and projects welcome!)
Familiarity with programming in C# or another modern language
Exposure to automated testing in code (preferably .NET 5+ / .NET Core)
Understanding of object-oriented programming fundamentals
Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new technologies
Basic experience with relational databases and SQL for test validation
Preferred
Experience with Agile/Scrum and continuous delivery practices
Exposure to RESTful API testing (Postman or similar tools)
Interest in AI-assisted coding or testing tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
