Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control requirements at a front desk location
Monitor entry points and assist with the sign-in process, visitor badging, and/or driver check-in and directions in a transportation and logistics setting
Answer and route phone calls, maintain front desk logs, and document routine activity and/or unusual events according to Allied Universal and site guidelines
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate
Observe front lobby activity and report hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management to help to deter unwanted activity
Qualification
Required
Have at least 2 years of security-related experience
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred
