Ornua is seeking an energetic and reliable Production Associate to join their 1st shift team. The role involves handling ingredients for cheese production, including weighing, cutting, and palletizing finished products, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Open barrels, block, or bags of cheese and other ingredients

Weigh the ingredients to the specified amount per individual batch sheets

Use knives and wires to cut and trim the ingredients to the correct weights

Transfer ingredients from the scale to the pick up tables

Heavy lifting and the ability to load cheese into grinders is required

Palletize finished product at the end of the packaging line

Any other duties as requested or assigned

Qualification

Food manufacturing experienceManufacturing PracticesBasic math skillsHigh school diplomaSolid work history

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Solid work history

Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time- (10 hour days)

Ability work with hands and to lift up to 50lbs repetitively

Basic math skills

Preferred

Prior food manufacturing experience

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
